YoyoBuddy was born from one worry every parent shares: how do we raise curious, confident kids in a world glued to screens?
It started at a kitchen table. Our daughter could swipe a tablet before she could tie her shoes — and the more she watched, the less she talked, asked, and imagined. We tried every "educational" app. None of them felt right. We didn't want a better screen. We wanted no screen at all.
So we set out to build the companion we wished existed: a soft, huggable friend powered by genuinely smart AI that listens, answers and tells a different bedtime story every night — without ever lighting up a display. We obsessed over the things parents actually care about: privacy, safety, and whether it would make a child light up. It did.
Today Yoyo and Leo live in thousands of homes around the world. Every feature still passes the same test it did at that kitchen table: would we give it to our own kids? If the answer isn't an instant yes, it doesn't ship.
